Of course Rex, but it has always been within your power to tell him that you are not a touchy guy. It’s what I’ve always done, when someone is too touchy friendly. Most people get it, and most touchy people know they are touchy.

So, is this a joke, or what?

“By November, according to data BLS released today, the total number of people employed had climbed to143,262,000, an overall increase of 847,000 in the five months since June,” Jeffrey reported. “In the same five-month period since June, the number of people employed by government increased by 621,000 to 20,559,000. These 621,000 new government jobs created in the last five months equal 73.3 percent of the 847,000 new jobs created overall.”

From the BLS data:

Jan 2012. June 2012. Nov 2012
Total 141,637,000. 142,415,000. 143,262,000
Government. 20,583,000 19,938,000 20,559,000

Since January 2012, total employment has increased by 1,625,000
Since January 2012, government employment has DECREASED by 24,000

So, WHY did CNSNews.com choose the “last five months” to compare data? Can’t be cherry picking, or they would have gone back to April, when government employment was at the lowest point of the year, right?

In other news , according to the BLS report linked in this article:

“Government employment is 618,000 below its August 2008 level”
“Since reaching an employment trough in February, 2010, the private sector has added 5.1 million jobs.”

Maybe you shouldn’t get to optimistic about that new government job.

You could also get two days off without pay for touching a coworker anywhere other than between the shoulder and elbow. All other “touches” are considered a form of harassment.

I worked with this guy that was a good guy, but overly friendly, and he always wanted to put his arm around you in a bonding way, and basically invade personal space, was very very creepy even though he menat no harm.

Call the government if you need a job – they are always hiring

You can call them all you want, the fact is gov jobs, even the lowest paying ones, are given on on cronyism and nepotism, and that is certainly true of ALL the high level or high comping jobs.

The dept of corrections had 125K applicants for only 900 job openings in 2010. Not uncommon to get over 100 applicants for just one K-6 elementary teacher job opening. And the one that gets hired with those kinds of numbers are always connected in……..

The joke was a hoot Katy!! Too bad it is so true in many ways. Most LE RAGWUS members end their looting of the taxpayers labor by going out on disability with no feelings of shame, as with the firewhiners.

I have a childhood friend that is a firewhiner for HBFD, he knows it is all a scam, but he doesn’t have the intergrity or ability to give up the cash. 🙂
