Its the nexus of everything Kluckafornia. Unions using their muscle because a bunch of high paying taxpayer funded jobs are on the line for a meaninless adventure, politicians lining up their buddies and contributors for fat contracts, and liberals out of touch with reality thinking that this pile of BS will work.

As the other writer noted, who knows what other hidden agendas are in the works? They will see this boondoggle through, at 20 times the intial cost estimates.

We lose, a few others win.

LaHood had ALL the answers until asked about the route from Bakersfield to L.A. Want to know why? Turn left at Bakersfield go to Palmdale, take a right to L.A. HSR website has delusional number of riders at Bakersfield and Palmdale.
This HSR is NOT about a train, there is another agenda. I don’t know what it is, land grab, water rights, Warren Buffet scheme, something.
Of course most of the Fed money has been borrowed to the General Fund.
