Greg in LA:

First of all, let's dispense with the would feel. The reason things are the way they are is because everyone feels and no one thinks anymore. It's long past time we stop feeling and start thinking.
Our state and country is in trouble and thinking and coming up with solutions to our problems is the only course of action that will move us forward. Standing around feeling each other's pain and lamenting over our problems may make us feel good but the truth is that it's no solution at all and gets us nowhere.

Republicans and democrats are equally guilty of using mass immigration for their own self serving political interests. Extrapolate that out to its logical conclusion and America will end up looking just like Mexico with all its foibles and inherent weaknesses.

Mexico is still, more or less, a homogenous culture whereas we are not. Especially with the democrats ongoing (and successful) efforts to balkanize America which spells trouble for us in the near future.

That trouble is already starting to manifest in cities across America and it will get worse as democrats and republicans continue to suffer acute tunnel vision and view illegal immigration through the narrow lens of political vision.

They see votes and political power: the rest of us see the full panorama of all the problems and associated costs that their tunnel vision does not allow them to see.

Yes, they should,

but the cheap labor lobby, combined with the fact that they are considered "undocumented Democrats", means that neither party will enforce our laws. At the pace we are on Americans will become minorities in our own country in 25 years and this fact will causes a lot of civil unrest, as Hispanics will effectively be battling for dominance, power and control.

Of course by then it will be to late, as the country that we inherited will have been surrendered to Mexicans and Central Americans, all for cheap labor and Democrat party control.
What an awful way to pass this country on to our children and grandchildren.

Bob, A lot of what you say is true.

The question I have is how do you feel about the Democrat party using immigration to politically defeat their opposition Through a radical change in racial demographics?

The Democrats support mass immigration, both legal and illegal because immigrants overwhelmingly rely on government aid and are more loyal Democrat voters than native born and assimilated Americans.

I do understand that the elite in the Republican party support mass immigration because they benefit from excess labor supply, which depresses labor wages.

I've figured this out as well as a lot of people, but I can't see how this will not become explosive once Americans realize we are stuck in a one party system nationally because of immigration.

Am I incorrect in fore seeing a lot of racial tensions once Americans see how immigration is being used to divide and defeat Republicans and marginalize White Americans?

Greg in LA:
I'll start by saying thst most people from south of the border hate being called "hispanic" but that's neither here nor there. What you did not mention is that for the most part, "hispanic" barrios are high crime areas and gangs are pervasive.

To put what you said in s different light, democrats don't mind barrios and ghettos and high crime rates as long as the denizens of those areas prey upon each other. Democrats have long since figured out that if they leave them along, toss them a welfare check and blame republicans when the natives get restless, The "hispanics" will always vote democrat (i.e., the party that will promise them more of other people's money for staying loyal to the democrat party).

Ex-Californian, I've noticed that Alabama and Louisiana have both recently passed "Arizona" style laws to make it harder on Illegals. That shows to me that illegal immigration is having a negative impact in the South.

I agree with you that liberal politicians benefit from Hispanics, the world knows that Hispanics are natural Democrat voters and help to marginalize Republicans. If one is a Democrat, mass immigration is wonderful politically. The down side is it lowers wages for Americans and bankrupts the state and local governments.
When Americans wake up to the fact that the Democrat party pushes mass immigration to defeat and demographically overwhelm Republicans, racial tensions are going to explode.
Nothing good is going to come from the mass immigration policies from the last 40 years.

Ex-Californian,

I see that you have washed your hands of California and it's problems with Mexican immigrants, and open borders.
I would only caution you not to consider yourself to be safely away from these problems. Every state is a border state now and although the problems that you see in California might seem safely far away from you. In ten years your area might also feel like Tijuana. Careful about your attitude where surrendering parts of America is okay. This is our country, we only have one, and it can't be replaced once it is gone.
