The more accurate U-6 measure never gets mentioned in the MSM because it doesn’t fit the liberals narrative that Obama’s policies are working.

Ever tried explaining baseline budgeting to the average person? I’ve tried and few ever get it. Spending increases are built into the year over year federal budget yet if congress cuts the year over year increase by .5%, THEY CALL IT A BUDGET CUT??

Same thing with what Obama and the dems are calling a middle class tax cut. If taxes are scheduled to go up and congress delays it for a year, HOW IN GOD’S NAME CAN YOU CALL THAT A TAX CUT??

Just wait until all the Obamacare taxes and fees hit. You won’t hear the MSM talk about that. When the outcry reaches a deafening pitch, the dems will just blame Bush -for Obamacare tax increases!! Un-freakin-believable!!

Given that the unions are RELENTLESS and still quite strong in Michigan, any company setting up shop or expanding in Michigan risks a court or election reversal that will put the unions back in charge.

Such capital investment decisions have to be made for the long term, and no sane businessman would move production facilities to such a politically unstable state — given the more reliable alternatives in the south and west.
