The LAPD crime Buster vigilante scandal shows the extraordinary racism the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has towards the black population in Los Angeles. This is about Hate Crimes being used by the LAPD to deny Los Angeles blacks of their Civil Rights. Attorney General Becerra does nothing because he is involved in a corrupt cover-up of LAPD Civil Rights Violation. Abusive hate crimes done by LAPD vigilantes need the sun light of public exposure. Members of the LAPD Command belonged to this racist vigilante group, and so did a Neighborhood Prosecutor for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Mike Feuer,The Los Angeles City Attorney, and LA Mayor Garcetti are two failed leaders in Los Angeles who are afraid to cross the LAPD. Garcetti and Feuer and have not said one word about the Crime Buster vigilante Scandal. When 43% of the Los Angeles homeless population is black and the LAPD supports the use of Crime Buster Vigilantes as they target, attack , and harass, and corrupt the courts Los Angeles, coverage by the AP and UPI is needed. So why is the AP office in Los Angeles not covering this issue. LA Blacks who are Homeless, are being wrongfully incarcerated when they fight back against LAPD Vigilante attacks. Not one police report of the LAPD mentions vigilante harassment in the San Fernando Valley, yet it is fact that it happens. This is direct proof that false LAPD Police Reports are routinely used to incarcerate targets of the crime-buster vigilantes. The question for Jonathan Lemire and even Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski is why is the AP office in Los Angeles, and the California News Media allowing Attorney General Becerra to get away with the corruption of not investigating the LAPD crime Buster vigilante. Let’s hope the institutional racism by the mainstream press stops and the important Hate Crime And Civil Rights Issue Of The LAPD Crimebuster Vigilante scandal gets covered.

I have not been to Mission Viejo, but I believe it is the center of training for olympic swimmers. That would definitely be something to promote. I know nothing about the finances, but the floats certainly add to the quality of life of those who enjoy the parade, which is over 100 years old.

Thank you for reminding me and your readers of this ongoing abuse of power that I previously dddressed when the city of Mission Viejo spent over $300,000 for a float in the 2009 parade to celebrate our 20th birthday. Unlike Anaheim, Mission Viejo is not a destination, had no tracts of homes to be sold, does not have a pro sports team and stadium or a convention center to promote.

For the most part these “taxes” are voluntary and authorized by representative government and the revenues generated from the Rose Parade are not reported.

The last time I checked the Certified Annual Financial Report for Pasadena it had about $450 million in cash, reserves and investments.

The City of Pasadena is running a $41 cost overrun on rehabilitating its famed Rose Bowl that may have to be paid off by city taxpayers and not the Rose Bowl Operating Company. Now there is a New Years Day story.

I’m not sure why you’re leading us to believe business improvement taxes collected for Lather (located in the city of Pasadena) have anything to do with the business improvement funds spent by the city of South Pasadena because they don’t. If you wanted a reaction from a business owner to how those funds are spent, you should have spoken to a business owner within the city limits of South Pasadena.

Frankly, as a South Pasadenan, I don’t care what Lather thinks about how our city spends its money. It’s none of their business.

Hard to get worked up over this one, considering the numbers we are talking are EQUIVALENT TO THE ANNUAL OVERTIME PAY OF ONE SINGLE, SOLITARY, THIEVING FIREFIGHTER as I described in the comments section here……..

The City of Torrance no longer funds the Rose Parade float. The Torrance Rose Float Association became a non-profit organization and now raises private donations. (Editor's Note: Thank you for the correction. We have amended the text to remove Torrance from the list of cities subsidizing floats.)
