I will be hearing from the conservative commentater's that the 'moderate' republicans did this. If you look at all the republican leaders who pushed this, you see all of them to be 'pro-life' and most of them against gay rights.
I am pro-choice and for gay rights and I would have set my hair on fire before voting for 41 dollars in tax increases for every dollar in spending cuts.
John Boehner has wasted one of the greatest victories of all time, the election in 2010. The debacle of this deal was set up by him forcing this 'super comittee' on his fellow republicans a year ago. While leading a huge majority in the house, he was only able to cut a couple billion from our yearly trillion dollar deficits. A failure of epic proportions. Voting for republicans in 2010 yielded nothing for conservatives. The greatest failure I have ever seen.
Kudos to the liberals. What astounding victories.

Mitch McConnell is the living embodiment of the spineless, perfidious Republican deal maker. Shame on him and all the Republican sock puppet fiscal frauds in the House that did John Boehner's bidding. Yet more proof that the Republican Party establishment just doesn't care about deficits, debt or spending restraint. What a bunch of pathetic frauds.

Kudos to my representative John Campbell for voting no, which frankly surprised me. I thought for sure he was a sock puppet.
