ResMed Inc., one of San Diego’s most highly valued medical device companies, is considering moving its headquarters to Texas.

ResMed paid an effective corporate tax rate of 23% in SD, that is lower than most muddle class americans.

I have followed their talk and I think they want no taxes. 23% is not excessive IMO.

“California’s extensive regulations, increasingly high taxes and deteriorating fiscal environment have prompted ResMed to examine whether to leave the state,” said Peter C. Farrell, ResMed’s chief executive, the UT San Diego reported yesterday.
