Yes, Richmond and Compton are different than Los Gatos and Piedmont. The problems in Richmond and Compton go much deeper than a lack of money. It’s a fundamentally different attitude about money and government.

West Contra Costa Unified School District (in Richmond) has $1.7 billion in bond debt and the voters there just approved yet another $360 million to borrow. The school board is now asking the state Board of Education to waive the requirement to limit its bond debt to 2.5 percent of the assessed valuation of real estate in the district. They’ll tax and spend until the state bails them out.

The truth is, the way they want everything to be run, America will go deep into debt, the rich will practically have their money taken from them and then be repettitively raped and thrown in to jail for being rich, the 99% of America won’t be taxed, college will be free unless you’re from the “one percent”, and the borders will be open with a big sign that says “come on in!”

I was born and raised in Sacramento California when I joined the military I left California and I never returned. I am thankful I left because the state must be full of nothing but fruits and nuts, I mean how else could they possibly have elected Jerry Brown to the governor’s mansion? I just don’t get it, the guys a complete nut job!! California gets what they ask for they deserve every bit of misery that is thrown on them because of these miserable POS politicians they put in office.

They only a few of manyt State Park Officials who were in on a system of petty favortism. They now say they were scared to tell about the extra funds. They sure were not scared to take the extra promotions, extra added managers, extra overtime pay for managers, extra vacation byouts, extra retirements pay, and an extra job, after retirement, with one of the P3 Public Private Partership organizations, who were getting extra donations from the public, to keep public parks open, many of which, could not be closed anyway, due to Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Law, and all of which, did not need to be closed, in the first place, due to a lack of extra funds.
