Oh, I know, Rex. My Sunday papers at the 7-11 last week cost me $3.24 instead of the usual $3.23. Really hard to take. The state got a whopping $1850 from my spouse and me last year, for state income tax. It takes a lot of money, to run this household–the state of CA.

The sales tax is regressive and should e the one eliminated. Not the income tax.

The sales tax is always the one politicians want to raise because it is the easiest to raise and produces the most money, off the backs of the poor and middle class.

Has ANYONE ever bought a multi million dollar yacht in CA??? Nope, never, because the sales taxes would total hundreds of thousands of $$$$. They title their new yacht in a foreign country for the 9 months it needs to stay out of the country before the sales tax disappears.
