They know already, and just depend our inattention and greed to buy time (my own included).
The state's Facebook cap gain revenue anticipation gamble opened my eyes a bit as to what we face, as it has illustrated the desperation that the state, cities and counties face as we move forward.
What a dice roll of a joke.

Well, I am thinking Hondo might be right on his two points. Generally we can count on reality being way different from the primrose projections of good ole Gov. Brown or any other pol in Sacto cut from the same cloth. I like him, the man, Jerry Brown, and he dumped a program that cost Calif over $5BN a year which I was fighting in my own small way, but he is a Democrat and Dems really do have very large holes in their heads. Sometimes you could drive an 18 wheeler through. Sometimes an aircraft carrier! They are like breeding lemmings, always growing in size as a gaggle, focusing on all the "gimme gimme's" they can give or take depending on what side of the governmental process they are on. But they do not seem to know what they are doing. NOT AT ALL. They will have ruined the state, the country and all its subsets within 5 or 10 years if they are not beaten back, and smartly, and now. In fact they are counting on doing so. It's their mantra, "my absurd ways or the highway, your opinion does not count!" When they speak and ignore you, or try to tell you how to think, you have to speak back and ignore them, with vigor. When they accuse you of racism because you cannot stand Obama and his idiotic policies and say so, you have to call them racists for thinking about race as being a part of every issue. They are a growing cancer that needs an H-Bomb-like radiation blast to clean up the cancer and stop them from ruining the world we live in. And I say this all the while not being particularly fond of Repubs either. But Dems are TOTAL vaporheads. Hopeless. Complete idiots. And they are dangerous to the Constitution and dangerous to society over the short, mid and long hauls. We gottta beat them back into their ratholes and soon.

This should be a "Must Read" for all of the elected officials and department heads that are supposed to be working for the general public. Unfortunately for us, the smoke and mirror approach to running the state is still alive and well (or so they think).
