Hondo and Rex – ur are kinda missing the point. I don’t care how many HRs Jackson, Starhell or even Hack Wilson woulda hit….

The main point we should be concerned with is…..this should be a Baseball issue, and only a Baseball issue……not a Senate Sub-committee issue.

And for that matter – as to ‘roids illegality in the first place, well, I’m a Libertarian on many issues, and see no reason not be be in this case as well.

Maybe a new definition of “libertarian”: The Anti-Bloomberg. (Another giant ego.)

Aside from that I agree with JimmyDee, Bonds is an insufferable egoist/A-hole but then so is Obama.

I am no fan of Obama, but there is no comparison between him and Bonds. Bonds has an ego like Trump and Arnold.

Like others have noted, never answer LEO questions if you are a suspect and never consent to a search no matter what B.S. promises a cop makes. Cops are professional interrogators and unlike politicians, we are not professional liars. Shut your yap and avoid the trap.

Aside from that I agree with JimmyDee, Bonds is an insufferable egoist/A-hole but then so is Obama. Maybe Barack should spend some time behind bars, he needs an attitude adjustment worse than Barry Bonds and he lies a lot more often

Have you ever seen Mr. September, Reggie Jackson, in person??? I have, he is a very big guy and there is NO DOUBT in my mind he used performance enhancing drugs. He was also a HUGE fan of Golds Gym back in the early 1980’s.

God knows how many home runs Hank Aaron would have hit if he had roids. Or Willie Mays. Willie McCovey could have hit one to Japan if he was on roids. That man was huge. I’m sure he could have CLEARED McCovey cove easily.
Noone in the roids era should be in the hall of fame. They all were using.

The commisioner of baseball should be on trial. He had to know that there was something up when a shortstop (A-Rod) was hitting 50 home runs a year. In years past, a power hitting shortstop hit 15 homeruns a year.
I could care less if these adult players poison themselves with roids. HGH and roids have a big tendancy to cause cancer. See Lance Armstrong.
The problem is that kids in high school are using, just hoping to sign any contract with a bonus. I place the blame on the comish. He should and had to have known.

Actually, the whole prosecution/persecution of Bonds is a massive injustice worthy of the Soviet show trials of the 1930s. And remember that Bonds is not in prison only because he’s wealthy and can afford high-priced attorneys. If something like this happened to you or me, we’d be in some hellhole prison for years by now.
On the money 100%.

NO ONE whom was/is poor, or a poor/middle class minority, would ever be allowed to stay out on bond during an appeal of a CRIMINAL convition. Even MORE rare is the fact that the 9th Allowed oral argument on the issue, that alone is extremely rare. Very hard to get oral argument.
