California is littered with lifesavers.

As to our education system: Doesn’t matter. At least in the R&D phase. High Tech industries like these, at the very pinnacle of innovation, recruit from around the world.

But that’s only the uppermost sliver of this particular food chain. As David in Irvine says, once it’s out of the lab, it’s gonna wave bye-bye to California.

The business climate in Calif. could mean that start- ups only take root and grow in lower-cost locations that are friendlier to business, entrepreneurs and young families.
