There are so many current laws on the books that I can’t help but feel that all of us are guilty of breaking one or more laws. How many new laws were passed in the last two years, 2,000 or so?

This over turning of that rape conviction is due to laziness of the legislature. Both parties. Someone should go through the criminal code every year to weed out 19th century laws that have no business being in the code. That law should have been found and dumped 50 years ago.
