In Kern County... Here is a video of a hearing held on November 13, 2012 regarding contamination of wells in Wasco & I think Shafter. Their lawyer and farmers addressed the Kern County Board of Supervisors pleading for help because farmers cherry and almond trees are dying from fracking below their orchards. The lawyer contends the County is in violation of the Brown Act, petroleum companies are drilling and putting fences around the surface areas, removing trees, the wells have high levels of chlorides and other chemicals, 40 of one farmers trees have died with very low yields. I apolize that the sound comes through for only about 20 minutes. Here is the link to the Kern County site of where you can watch the hearing for this public comment which is about a total length of 1 hour 45 minutes.

Youtube link with sound for 23 minutes: www.youtube.com/watch?v=b43Wzk6RQ4Y&feature=youtu.be

Instructions. Click on below link. Find November 13, 2012 2:00 pm hearing video. The public comments from the attorney and farmers start at about 4 minutes or so. (You can't make this stuff up!)
