I never liked Reagan much anyways, this is one more reason why. I remember the 1980 campaign where he was spitting foam about those 80 billion dollar deficits by Carter. He then tripled them to 240 billion in his first term. Bush#1 was right in calling Reagan’s economics, ‘voodoo economics’. Huge tax cuts along with huge spending increases. That was economic ‘Al Queda’ for our generation. He blew up the budget and we are paying the price now.
Not often we agree on things Teddy. But we do on Reagan.
