In reply to Mitch. I just got one in El Cajon, Ca. Two connecting small businesses I own. One of them , a tiny little vacant and under renovation last couple months . I had such a horrible problem last couple months with homeless camping out and partying with garbage and destruction everywhere!! I had been bleaching and pressure washing the building and lot so much that the parking lines became faint and before I could finish the renovation and get new lines marked by a company— Chris Langer jumped on it! Ironic since I just finished the bathroom to ADA compliant to the finest detail.

your suggestion sounds practical, ethical, and reasonable.
the small business owners works very hard to contribute to the society, most of them work 7 days a week.
they shouldn’t be abused by scammers.

I have been hit for the second time by Chris Langer and his band of merry men. This time it is for a parking lot behind my small commercial building. I previously paid for a comprehensive CASp inspection and report stating that since there is no rear access to this building and since the building width is property line to property line it is not feasible or possible to provide a compliant parking stall and therefore signs should be installed stating that this small lot is not for public use. We installed the appropriate signage. I was sued anyway!! I have spent close to 17K that I dont have for legal council and court filings etc. Since I wouldn’t settle out of court the plaintiff has filed frivolous motions in my opinion all to keep running up my cost. A few days ago after once again making it clear I would not pay one red cent of extortion money, they suddenly have agreed to drop the case. This has been ongoing for almost 10 months and is extremely draining for a 74 year old guy still working a 60 hour work week in order to make ends meet. There is something wrong in this world when someone can sue you for not being able to park in an area clearly marked ‘Tenant Parking Only’. Why would anyone in their right mind (able bodied or wheel chair bound) want to park in a fenced lot behind a building when there is ample street parking as well as parking on each side by way of bank owned parking lots?? My dilemma…I am paying my attorney 17K because of Chris Langer. There is no modification I can do to make this parking lot compliant nor is there anything I should have done in the past. I want some of my money back! My attorney states it would be very unlikely we would be able to obtain a court order having Chris Langer repay any of my legal cost. I have just Google’d Chris Langer ADA Lawsuits and ‘Oh My Gosh’ is there a lot of bedtime reading available. I was delighted to see that the owner of a small hotel in Palm Springs had gone to the media and her story was on a Los Angeles news show (Go Girl)! I am contemplating contacting a local San Diego TV Station as this stuff has got to stop!!! It’s killing us honest hard working folks who do want to do the right thing in spite of Chris Langer and all his type.

This is the third times this lawyer with different handicapped which the one today was very well groomed and chic with his the most recent IPHONE came. Each time the lawyer got money for different excuse. This time was mirror. The guy in the wheelchair couldn't comb his hair. We ended up to pay $8000.00. You heard it right. Moris Mehraban didn't accept even payment and wanted to go to trial which if we went the minimum of ADA violence is $4000.00 and $18000.00 for lawyer fee. Our lawyer said if it goes to trial the judge won't say anything and you have to pay. The problems are judges. They are so weak and so careless that it doesn't matter what you have to go through to get this money. Judiciary system in USA is a total joke. This money should go towards tax payer not illegal immigrants. I pray that Donald Trump become the next president to take of all these mess in this country.

THE PLAINTIFF AND THE ATTORNEY CAN MAKE ANY CLAIM.
IN OUR CASE THEY SAID THE VISITED OUR PROPERTY TWICE IN NOVEMBER 2015 AND THERE WAS NO HANDICAP PARKING AVAILABLE. I HAVE PHOTOS OF THEM INSTALLING THE SPACES WITH THE DATE OF 7/1815..
WHEN THIS IS POINTED OUT THEY SAY TOO BAD YOU HAVE TO PAY AN ATTORNEY TO ARGUE THIS AND THAT THE COURT WILL ALLOW THE PLAINTIFF TO CORRECT THE DATE. A 3 MONTH ERROR????? IS THERE ANY ONE
WHO CAN HELP.. HANDICAPPED PERSONS CAN BE
SCAMMERS TOO….

In Fresno Layne Hayden is one of the shysters. He’s trying to hit my business right now. He has another lawyer, David Mugridge, as the “victim”. They’ve pulled a number of these scams. This is gross. There was some attention in the broadcast TV and radio news but reporters were too chicken to state names.
