They will care when they can no longer afford their utility bills; when their grocery bill consumes more than 40% of their monthly income; when gasoline goes north of $8 dollars per gallon, when 60% of their yearly income is taken in taxes; when they can no longer afford their homes and lastly when they see that newly arrived illegal aliens immediately get an EBT card, free health care, free cellphone, subsidized housing, transportation assistance and a voter registration form.

Hyperinflation indeed. What’s happening in Cyprus (government confiscation of 10% of all bank accounts below 100k euros and 40% of all accounts above that) has already happened here in the US.

Zero% interest rates, devaluing the currency by printing excess dollars, rising commodity costs and rising taxes has the same effect as the government confiscating a percentage of peoples income and savings.

The Feds QE infinity program is the equivalent of putting bandaids over a hole in a dam to fix the leaks. Never mind the water behind the damn is rising. In time, when the water comes rushing over the top of the dam, all the bandaids in the world won’t matter. BTW: cutting &85 billion from a &3.7 trillion budget is the equivalent of scooping a cup of water from a dam that is in threat of overflowing.

The problem is that most people don’t understand the size and scope of a $3.7 trillion dollar budget and a 17 trillion dollar deficit. Here;s a little perspective:

A US dollar in .0043 inches thick. A stack of 1 dollar bills would be i,153,724 miles high. The circumference of the earth is approx. 24,901 miles. Lay that stack sideways and that’s enough dollar bills to circle the earth a little over 46 times!!

Here’s an even scarier number: the stated US unfunded liability is currently $123.3 trillion dollars and growing. That works out to a stack of dollar bills approx 8,367,897 miles high!!

Debt wise, the US is building it’s own tower of Babel.

The coming hyper inflation is the only real way to wake people up.
