Brown’s silence may speak volumes but when all is said and done, the only thing that will happen is should he be pressed to give an explanation, he will be less than forthright with his answers and it will be back to business as usual once the heat dies down if there is any. Californians have a remarkable tolerance for corrupt politicians as long as there is a “D” next to their name.
