"Extortion (also called shakedown, outwresting, and exaction) is a criminal offence of unlawfully obtaining money, property, or services from a person, entity, or institution, through coercion.....Extortion is commonly practiced by organized crime groups....."

That's from Wiki. Needs updating. Might I suggest:

In the 20th century it was commonly practiced by the Mafia. By the 21st century it became more commonly practiced by the State of California.

"California Association of Environmental Health Administrators"???

Who could have imagined such a thing even existed?

And a senator from Santa Barbara. Another "imagine that". I went to UCSB, and lived there for a few years after graduation. By in large the citizenry was smug and hyper-environmental even then, in the late 80s. I can only imagine what the place is like now.

The fact that Kalifornia has the HIGHEST rates of unemployment, poverty and welfare in the nation are not considered. Kalifornia has more economic assets than any place on earth. You have to make a conscious effort to destroy Kalifornia's gigantic economic machine.
This is all beyond belief. But there is a North Korea. Their leaders are of the same genetics as the leaders of Kalifronia, and me. We are all part of this human race. To say that North Korea couldn't happen here is to be raciest. Pravda is a more honest newspaper than the LA times. I never thought that would come to be.
I am truly stunned at what passes for reality in Sac town.
Hondo.....
