This is what the RAGWUS has done to the people of California: “The law perverted! And the police powers of the state perverted along with it! The law, I say, not only turned from its proper purpose but made to follow an entirely contrary purpose! The law become the weapon of every kind of greed! Instead of checking crime, the law itself guilty of the evils it is supposed to punish!” Bastiat!! 🙂

Why do I read these articles anyway? Just when I think this place can’t annoy me any more than it already does, I read an article like this and ….

Hmmmmm, let me think about this. First you overwhelm a state with people from another culture where corruption is endemic and widely tolerated, AND THEN YOU GET MORE CORRUPTION! I’m shocked, shocked I say!

Michael Allen lost his job in the November election, but he landed pretty softly.

“Allen, defeated by Marc Levine in his reelection bid for a state Assembly seat representing part of Sonoma County and Marin County, was appointed on Thursday to the state Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.

“The five-member panel, which meets monthly, is the final arbiter in appeals of unemployment and disability claims involving workers and employers.

“The job pays $128,000 a year. That’s a hefty bump from an Assembly member’s base pay of $95,300.”

YOU MEAN HE MEETS ONCE A MONTH AND GETS THIS LARGE SALARY??? No way to contest this set up? Where are the curbs on ridiculous spending?

No wonder they want your guns. I don’t think the government officials really think you will be safer without a gun, but I am sure they will feel much safer.

Well, I wuz wrong when I said there is no more money left to steal. There are a few more piggey banks around. But there isn’t much more money left to steal.
The nations economy is going down again(was it ever going up or was there just a manipulation of data to get Obama reelected). The labor stats are a debacle after 7 trillion dollars in deficit stimulus spending. Unemployment is starting up again. Kalifornia has the worst unemployment in the nation while being blessed with more economic assets than any place on earth.
But with Stockton and San Berdoo leading the way, the public sector thieves are in a crisis knowing that the loot may run dry, sooner than later.
