I know for a fact that the oil industry wants to develop California’s oil reserves which are quite vast. They know what they face politically.

The SUV driving political liberal types who hate oil and love imported coal fired energy from Arizona and Texas will fight to the death to keep it from happening.

I might get solar panels for the house someday, if the return is there. That’s what they want. Energy so expensive that they can choke and control our behavior.

"The California fantasy is that energy magically will flow in abundance from windmills and solar panels, even when there’s no wind and at night."

We can solve this whole energy mess with a simple, cheap and potentially abundant energy source - PROPELLER BEANIES! I would personally love to see every politician made to wear one at all times.

"Eventually, the California Teachers Association and other public-worker unions will give the marching orders: 'We don’t care about the environment. We need the tax money for our pensions. Drill! Drill! Drill!' "

Don't be so sure about that John. These are the same people who already reduce their own pension returns with "social justice" style investment management. I think they are much more likely to just put the screws to taxpayers and make us foot the bill no matter how high it gets. The ProgNazi parasites will get their pound of flesh from every Crazyfornia taxpayer come hell or high water. The only real solution is to move to another state. Otherwise, be prepared to be fiscally sodomized.
