Independents are equal to the republicans. What changed was that 3 liberal billionaires hurled huge amounts of money at the system and in republican leaning districts, incumbent R’s were suddenly being out spent by 6 to 1. Before the R’s knew what happened, they were in the minority.
Kudos to the Dems for a job well done. The republicans should take notes.
