Obamacare is worst for the WORKING poor. Those Americans who make just enough money to not be eligible for medicaid. With the gigantic increases in the price of health insurance, they won’t, by a mile, be able to afford to buy insurance. They will have to pay the huge tax (penalty), and still not be insured. This group of people were the very reason the dems pushed this bill. And they still will be without, only they have a GIGANTIC tax increase. This tax increase on our poorest, WORKING poor, is the largest tax increase in the history of the world.
Once again.
If you think health care is expensive now, wait till its free.

For decades the congress and CA legislators have exempted themselves, and often, their cohorts from the laws they pass. This is a huge rip-off scandal. The average Joe has no idea of this. If he(she) did, it would probably result in a revolt. Well one can always hope so.

Others preferred the Bald Eagle, which of course won out. At first I thought a third choice more fitting the present day – that bird at bottom right.

Then I read this, and maybe the Bald Eagle was the correct choice after all. (Though the cooked goose still has merits.) From Franklin’s letter to his daughter, 1784.

“….For my own part I wish the Bald Eagle had not been chosen the Representative of our Country. He is a Bird of bad moral Character. He does not get his Living honestly. You may have seen him perched on some dead Tree near the River, where, too lazy to fish for himself, he watches the Labour of the Osprey; and when that diligent Bird has at length taken a Fish, and is bearing it to his Nest for the Support of his Mate and young Ones, the Bald Eagle pursues him and takes it from him.”

A fitting description of our Federal government if there ever was one.
