Its about spending billions of dollars on sports stadiums. That is money not spent on the poor, on health care, on roads, on clean water supply, garbage pick up, ect. The Olympics may be in trouble because of this issue.
This is why I’m against taxpayer funded sports stadiums. The vast bulk of the money goes to the millionaire players and billionaires owners. And the players cans still go on strike if they don’t make enough millions. The poo people get nothing.
