"An Associated Press analysis found that about four-fifths of the states now have enacted local laws that directly reject or ignore federal laws on marijuana use, gun control, health insurance requirements and identification standards for driver’s licenses."

This is a welcome trend, though not without potential pitfalls. As the National Government in The District of Criminals continues it's frontal assault on our inalienable rights the States need to step up and protect us. That is what The Founders envisioned and I hope the process continues to flourish.

Maybe if we are lucky this country will crack up and groups of states will go there separate ways in reaction to the oppressive and unconstitutional Federal police state, restoring our rights to life, liberty and property in the process. One can hope anyway.

There isn't a single politician in Sacramentzky with the cohones to stand up to the Feds that way particularly if threatened with cutting off Federal funding (in mass quantities). Oh this ought to be good.... watching the talking heads rail, whine and moan about how bad the Federal government is... blah blah blah

It would also be fun to watch Sacramentzky pass laws prohibiting Google et al from releasing data.... they'll move out of state - that would be a real hoot!
