I have been predicting all along fracking will be allowed in California - albeit in a heavily regulated and taxed form.
For all the love of the ruling party for over-regulation, environmental extremism, crony capitalism, unionism, anti-business and middle class destruction, there is one thing that trumps all.
And that is the love of money.
The opportunity to get their hands on potentially huge source of more tax money to spend and lavish on their friends and voting bloc groups will always overcome the animus from a few of their core supporters.
For the D-Rats to kill this golden goose is illogical even to the most extreme in the party.
