Also there’s the tremendous irony of the union-financed gay bashing campaign that put this clown in office in the first place. This smoking gun has Lorena Gonzalez’s prints all over it. They were so terrified of DeMaio that they resorted to tactics that expose them as raging hypocrites. The ads were sleazy, dirty and loaded with homophobic innuendo aimed directly at DeMaio’s sexuality, right out of the 1950’s. And they got away with it. And, VOILA, barely half a year into his term as the unions’ dream mayor HE is revealed to be the sexual predator, super creep, killer clown from outer space…

So Filthy Filner is a misogynist huh? No surprise at all. Just another “Progressive” fraud who thinks laws and civil behavior are for the little people. If you look up the word Jerk in the dictionary it has a picture of him.

Are his allies really making the excuse that he’s 70 so he and his generation get a pass? That’s worse than pathetic. His generation invented sexual harassment laws and now when they get hoisted by their own petard they want a pass. The term hypocrite doesn’t even begin to describe them.

One sad thing about the Filner debacle is that the jackals like the UT who have been hounding him ever since the election are going to declare “victory”, even though their attacks were based on partisan politics and ideology and had nothing to do with sexual harassment. But of course, even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in awhile.

Filner has no one to blame but himself. He needs to resign. But it is a sad day for San Diego and its citizens, not a time to gloat.
