Then you wingnuts have Jack Abromoff and Ralph Reed bilking the religious conservatives for the benefit of their clients, Rush Limbaugh committing drug felonies with his Oxy habit, and the historical fact that Ronald Reagan’s administration had the most officials convicted of crimes of any presidential administration in our history.

OK, lets look at them Stevie. Was their behavior reprehensible? Yes. Were either one of them convicted of a crime? No. Did either one of them have their law license revoked and were they fined $90,000 like President Clinton, who not only perjured himself but suborned perjury for his own legal advantage and lied to two Federal judges as well as the entire nation on national TV. He’s still a hero to you I’m sure. Can’t let these little details get in the way of The Agenda after all.

Then there is the curious case of Alce Hastings, a Democrat Congress Critter who was impeached and removed from the bench as a Federal Judge for graft and corruption and then promptly sent to Congress by his clueless, morally compromised Democrat constituents who apparently think impeachment is a character reference. I don’t know of any other political party that sends impeached Federal judges to Congress.

And don’t forget Patrick Kennedy, the drug addicted anger mismanagement headcase who sideswiped a police barricade in D.C. while drunk and got driven home by the Watch Commander with no charges filed. Oh, and didn’t he assault a TSA agent and get away with that too? He finally had enough of himself and quit or he would still be a national disgrace with a permanent Congressional seat.

And what about Charlie Rangel, former head of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, who was caught red handed dodging taxes on income and misusing rent control properties and still got re-elected.

And let’s not forget the rapist, child pornographer, bank defrauder, wire fraud con man and former Democrat Congress Critter Mel Reynolds who is trying to revive his moribund political career after his Federal prison sentence was commuted by none other than Bubba Clinton, patron saint of sexual predators everywhere.

And Cynthia McKinney, a former Demagoguecrat race hustling Congress Critter with a nasty habit of assaulting cops and security guards and getting away with it. If it weren’t for redistricting she would still be disgracing her office too.

Now this is just a partial list but it does illustrate my point that the left just doesn’t care about personal ethics in politics. My point wasn’t that Conservative politicians are paragons of virtue (think Duke Cunningham). But at least conservative voters don’t perpetually re-elect and venerate slimy crooks and perverts like Hastings, Rangel, Clinton, Wiener, Spitzer et. al.

The People’s business is more important than one megla-maniac’s pursuit of all things within his kingdom. When he tried to convince me to work on his San Diego School Board election, I declined. I just had a negative impression of him. Recent events, the Sunroad scandal and it is a scandal no matter what the final verdict and now these sexual harassment allegations. It is time for him to go. May be Filner learned how to treat staff from Congressman Jim Bates with whom he worked who was involved in his own sexual harassment scandal in 1990. Jim Bates was defeated for re-election by Randy Cunningham, the congressional thief. These politicians think that they entitled and privileged as some pro athletes. IT’s BOB FILNER’S TIME TO GO.

Everything he has done, from his differences with City Attorney Jan “Chalk Hunter” Goldsmith to his trip to Europe, has been the subject of criticism, much of it unwarranted.

A “Recall Mayor Filner” Facebook page has drawn such vitriol, personal insults and racist and anti-Semitic posts that the administrator has had to step in.

But Chris wants you to think that all of this never happened, that it was just a figment of our liberal imagination, and that there was never a concerted effort to bring down Mayor Filner.

If the charges against Mayor Filner are true, he should resign. He has no one to blame but himself. And it is a tragedy for San Diego and San Diegans.

But please don’t tell us that the good-old-boys in SD won’t be raising their champagne glasses when he does.

In the unending political battle between Left and Right there is lots of hypocrisy to go around, however, the Conservatives aren’t even in the same league with the “Progressives” on that score. Left wing oriented voters simply have no interest in the personal ethics and character of their politicians.

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE AGENDA. Personal failings are never allowed to impede the agenda. The left has always tolerated immense amounts of corruption and turpitude from it’s political class as long as they deliver the goods. So long as Progressive Fascists like Filner deliver the goods for Big Labor, Trial Lawyers, Environmentalists, Feminists, Illegal immigrants and Crony Capitalist oligarchs they will continue to be politically viable, regardless of their atrocious personal behavior. Just look at Anthony Weiner and Elliot Spitzer, two absolutely shameless reprobates who will probably soon be running the most important city in the world. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE AGENDA.
