I am not a journalist. Bloggers are not all journalists and that is an understatement.

90% of blogs are not researched and have no references to this effect.

Should bloggers and journalists be held under different sets of standards?

Absolutely not. Just because I am not a journalist doesn’t make my forum less correct but at the same time a journalist better have refs for their information to avoid the KTVU incident where ignorance and lack of references led to an extremely embarrassing incident this past week.
