My family left a communist country 33 years ago. As an adult, I realized there is not much difference between Communism and Democracy. Our government is getting bigger everyday. My father always told us to never depend on the government. Nothing is free. Government will always come out ahead of its people. They are in control, not you the people. In the end government will take what they want. Pass laws that will only benefit themselves or their campaign donors. The past six years under Pres. Obama is not very promising. Now here in CA we have good old Gov. Jerry Brown. They make you think that they work for the people, their constituents. This mostly is not the case.

The Communist will come and take your land and business as they please. And will not compensate you or your family for anything they take. Here in CA you have what they call ” Eminent Domain”. Government will take your land, property or business for their own use, but will compensate you and your family way under market value. Really??? We work 12-16 hour days to be able to live the American dream. Its not the American dream knowing that one day, when the state wants your property they can come and offer you a stupid amount for all your hard work. I realize paying taxes equals Freedom.
Kym and Chea will never fight or sue the state, because deep down inside they fear the government. Yes! even though they are free people. You have to remember what the Khmer Rouge regime did to the people of Cambodia. These people will go quietly and try their hardest to build a new business. We are resilient people.
