Not even close to $100k, and the Blueberry Commission is industry-funded.

“The Central Valley is in a depression, with 40 percent unemployment.”

Unemployment rate in Bakersfield: 8.4%, Fresno 12.6%. High, yes, but not anywhere close to 40%.

“Housing prices have fallen 30 to 60 percent across the state, evaporating trillions of dollars of equity.”
