The L.A. Story: Picture worth far more than a thousand words

Can’t really beat this for succintness, can you?

New Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti may think his slight standing up to the L.A. Department of Water and Power shows he’s independent. But the Aug. 22 edition of the Southern California Teamster newspaper lets the world know how things work in L.A.

Nice display of union illiteracy — the “s” being capitalized in “L.A.’S” — and remindful of the days when I used to get press releases from the “Fontana Teacher’s Association[2].”

Either there was only one teacher in the FTA, or the one writing press releases had Teamster-style English skills.
