The bigger mafia

Pacino Scarface Poster[1]The state of California just nabbed another $32,000 from Al Pacino, star of “The Godfather,” “Scarface” and other gangster films. Reportedly[2], he promptly paid the “tax” bill.

Even Don Corleone and Tony Montana have to pay “protection” money to bigger gangs, in this case the Organized Crime State of California. They made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.

The real “American Dream” today is to get a cushy government job and live easy off other people’s labors, then retire to an Idaho ranch with a hefty pension subsidized by the taxpayers/slaves.

Those who object are straightened out fast by “enforcers,” as at Waco[3].

(Editor’s Note: Thanks to a commentator’s quick eye, this was corrected from “$32 million” to “$32,000.”)
