My husband is a geochemist. He was at a CA conference back a bit, and they were talking about how PRO-fracturing Jerry Brown was. He promised to veto ANY bill that thwarted it, thinks frakking is a great thing for the economy. Which it is. He was stunned to find himself on the same side of anything as Jerry Brown. Considering this is California, the geologists are pleased with SB 4. There are lots of constraints, but considering what it could be, it’s pretty good.]]></description>

If Republicans had supported SB4, this would have created the appearance that Democrats should have opposed it.
