How the hell can the ALRB dictate that the signatures are invalid? An independent third party should. How can Gov. Brown simply ignore this? Oh, I must have forgotten that he’s “in bed” with them. In the late 1960’s & early 1970’s, UFW goons were breaking the arms of farm workers who crossed their picket lines. The UFW goons also burned down packing houses and homes of growers.

They were thugs then and are thugs now. They have helped the democrats get elected, so the democrats are paying back the UFW by raiding the pockets of farm workers and completely undermining the business model of the Gerawan Farming operation, which will have predictable results.

The ALRB is now dictating how Gerawan will run their business. Government does not know how to run businesses. Gerawan understands this, they have seen what has happened to other businesses that the UFW and ALRB have gotten their hooks into; and before the Gerawans allow the ALRB and the UFW to drive them into bankruptcy, what do you suppose they will do? Roll over and watch everything they’ve worked for be stripped from them?

In the end, there will be thousands of farm workers unemployed by this ALRB/UFW power grab. Just ask the farm workers at ACE Tomato…
