Ted: The First Amendment “allows for public labor unions” — but not for collective bargaining with them by governments. That was allowed in the early 1960s by JFK for federal unions, whose workers now make 100% more than equivalent private-sector workers. And in California, it was allowed by two laws signed by Gov. Brown. The public-sector unions now control the state, and their workers receive lavish pay, perks and pensions.

This means the unions control the government by electing pliable officials, meaning the unions sit on both sides of the bargaining table. Hence the ongoing financial meltdown of governments at all level. It’s just beginning.

Public unions have to be banned, they are really just a legalized money laundering scheme….look at BART, average salary $81K, plus 70K in benefits, for a HS education job that requires no skill sets….
