I’ve been asking this question for years now. The answer of course, is that very, very, very few Americans go hungry. The one in six figure is completely bogus. Look at the people who use food stamps in your community. Do they appear gaunt and emaciated? Hell no, they are often fat slobs. The poor in this country suffer from too many calories and not enough nutrition and it isn’t because they can’t get nutritious food (which is actually cheaper than snack foods). It’s because they are ignorant and self destructive losers.
