I refuse to sign in. Only after you submit all your personal data do you learn about how much you will have to pay for ObamaCare. The "glitch" is that the system accepts and collects your personal data but shuts down prior to providing you with your estimated premiums. I think that they are afraid of the backlash when PRODUCTIVE WORKING people learn how much they are going to get charged. But they store your data so they can track you down later and remind you to pay up (or else).

This is only a minor prelude "glitch". Wait until the actual ObamaCare package rolls out in January. You are going to see meltdown after meltdown. I have already heard people screaming about the higher premiums that are forced on them - while they get fewer healthcare benefits.

This only makes sense if you think about it. The costs have to be spread out. When you add 30 more million people to the healthcare rolls who get their healthcare at no personal expense, somebody has to pay for that.

This is how I think it plays out. Healthy people will pay the lesser penalty to the IRS and refuse to pay the higher premiums. The risk pool will consist mainly of people with chronic illnesses who need routine treatments. This, of course, will result in higher premiums since with mostly sick people obtaining insurance packages the costs have to be spread.

How will Obama respond to this? He'll jack up the penalties for not buying insurance to levels that will hurt your pocketbook and force you to buy into the system.

Once the American people figure out how they've been duped there's going to be protests and lots of anger.

Remember, the majority of the America people did not want ObamaCare. It was forced on them.

Reminds me of the days of old when I would have to sit in front of my personal computer and feed it floppy disks (actually 3.5" diskettes, since floppies were 5" format) for hours just to upgrade an operating system.

Remember when you had to write batch files and manually edit Command.com and AutoExec.bat just to get an application to run. Ah yes, those were the days of environment variables, page swaps, memory stacks and those inscrutable DOS command line switches. Well, it kept the riffraff away from computers anyway.

Actually, it's worse than the article depicts sarcastically. The solution is paper forms that you request over the phone, fill out and mail back to the government for review. It takes 6-10 weeks. So the real solution even pre-dates punch cards.
