Obama killed Pontiac, Saturn, Hummer, and Plymouth in government bailouts where the CEO’s still shut down production lines and gave themselves hefty bonuses. everyone involved was corrupt and some giants fell.

Those old ’57 chevs with the shark fin lights were so cool. You could be ugly as a mud hut but if you drove a ’57 chev with an 8-track player the homecoming queen would be all over ya. One kid in the neighborhood could have been the posterboy for Clearasil but drove a ’57 chev and always had the hot chics.

As a means to ‘stimulate the economy’ and support the auto manufacturers it wouldn’t surprise me if Obama orders another “Cash for Clunkers” deal, this time mandated, for the elimination of all cars manufactured before year 2000. And if you make less than $50,000 a year with a family of 4 you get a free car. Just make all roads in America “toll roads” costing 10 cents a mile with $70,000 salaried government workers collecting at the toll booths. And put a $100,000 cop in each toll booth screening for impaired drivers. don’t laugh. It’s not that far fetched.
