People are leaving the Republican party in droves specifically because a sizable number of republican electeds have started to backslide on and violate traditional core republican values - like keeping taxes low, minimizing government debt, enforcement of rule of law, orderly and enforced immigration laws and promotion of 'equality under the law'. I don't buy the 'demographics' argument at all. So 40% of Denham's district is 'hispanic' so he is forced to reward criminal aliens who violate our immigration and labors laws? Nonsense. The argument doesn't even make good sense. It would be like giving all shoplifter fugitives amnesty and EBT cards because a growing number of the district constituents are shoplifters. This is about the erosion of Republican core values and the traditional mores of our society. And it's about the blending of the republican into the democrat party leaving the people with no distinct choices at the polls. You notice that all the democrats vote in unison on the controversial legislation while the republicans are divided and screw each other over. It's truly a nation in distress.
