A “paramilitary response”? After seeing what happened during and after hurricane Katrina, as well as the recent disaster in the Phillipine island, I doubt that any military response would really do much to help. People just have to face the fact that in events of the type envisioned, you and your family will be on your own. Better to be prepared with some kind of plan for survival. Governments are bureaucracies. They don’t respond quickly enough to help when needed. But they sure can spend money, a response they excel at doing.

OMG, total fantasy. When are we going to stop listening to these parasites. They are essentially in a religious fervor – nothing much else explains it. There is simply no, I mean NO, credible evidence to support ANY of this hysteria. Sure, it may get a bit warmer (or not), evidence says it’s either beneficial or no big deal. Jeesh!

This whole global warming thing is just another excuse by the coastal commission to keep dark people out of the coastal communities. I dare the liberals to look at the demographics of the people who live within the coastal commissions boundry’s. A few dark athletes and movie stars and rap stars are allowed in. But the illegal aliens better be done cleaning and away from the coast and back in Riverside or east LA before 10 oclock at night.
I believe the lack of any development along the coast is a not so soft form of racism. I can point to many studies showing how the global temps are flat or falling. I believe there has to be more to this segregation on our coasts.

What what happens is the Earth cools instead of warms? Do we need a paramilitary response for that?

There were very few hurricanes this year, the response, “it is because of global warming”. There were too many hurricanes, “it is becasue of global warming”. Global warming has stalled, “it is because of global warming”.

The Earth is cooling, “it is becasue of global warming”. NGO’s in action. Our taxes poured out for more crap in action.

Someone must have forgot to send them the memo… There has been no “global warming” for 17 years according to satellite data. Surface data shows a longer pause. But who cares about the actual data? Let’s keep the global warming party going!!! WooHoo!

As long as a majority of progressives continue to believe in climate change, I think it’s safe to say that the science has yet to be settled. I believe progressives will use the possibility of climate change to wield power over others, preaching how we should all live, and line their pockets in the process (see Al Gore). The left is completely motivated by political power.
