Imagine running a big health insurance company and trying to keep up with this idiot?

6 weeks until the changeover and he “uncancels” the cancelled policies. Do you have any idea how much these arbitrary change-overs cost the insurance industry? And their costs just get passed on to you.

Go read the article in the LA Times. Even the libs are fuming. The premiums are going to skyrocket now.

So now the dictator can do a 180 on a dime and single-handedly mandate private businesses to reverse his previous orders and “uncancel” their cancelled health insurance policies? I have never seen the executive branch dictate so much legislation. I always thought it was unconsti…. Oh, never mind.

Do you have any idea the impact this would have on a businesses operations? It defies acturarial science relative to the insurance industry. How can this happen without the rest of the insurance pool’s rates going up dramatically? The reason for the cancellations in the first place was to consolidate and bring prices down. This would be like trying to unscramble a scrambled egg. Somebody better put a leash on this loose cannon or he’s going to blow up the entire insurance industry!!!!

The Onion article is funny but on a more serious note what constitutional or statutory authority does President Obama have to pick and choose which parts of the PPACA he will enforce? As president he is supposed to faithfully execute the laws he signs. He is just as bound by the statutory requirements of the law as anyone else. Only Congress has the authority to make changes to Obamacare.

Telling the insurance industry for 3 years that they have to cancel policies that don’t meet regulatory requirements and then doing an about face after the fit hits the shan is ridiculous and tyrannical. This regime is turning the country into a Banana Republic and a laughing stock.
