Ulysses, I and many others have very little trust in the Ca public school system, the teacher's union or the Ca state legislature when it comes to protecting the safety of the students. I say this based on the facts of the investigation surrounding former 30-year Miramonte elementary teacher and now convicted pedophile, Mark Bernt. The story is so repulsive that I can't even bring myself to discuss the details. Sorry. If you're interested go read it yourself. You have more faith in the system than I do. By the time a "law is self-correcting" there is the potential for tremendous damage. The teachers always use the mantra "we need to protect the children" when they want more money. But Miramonte tells us the other side to the story.

Collapse.....

Do you really believe women teachers will stand by and let perversion occur in the name of PC.

This law is self correcting or we face Sodom and Gomorrah mores in public schools.

Stop worry. ...

Not for me, Ulysses. I don't have a daughter getting ready to attend a California public high school who would be at risk for XY's gawking at her naked in the shower room after gym class. If I were I might take you up on that offer. But my heart goes out to all those fathers with adolescent daughters who might find themselves in that predicament. You should put out a public service announcement to offer your help. It's a very sick state. And the sickness can be contagious. The weak are particularly vulnerable. Just a head's up.

You know, as nutty and as bizarre as California politics are, I never imagined in my lifetime that I would be casting a ballot to strike down a CA law that allows boys (XY-types) under the authority of the State to lawfully enter and use the girl's (XX-types) restrooms and shower rooms. I just never thought it would deteriorate to such an extent in my lifetime. Our forefathers and mothers must be laughing hysterically at what we've turned into. Look at all the money and time it has taken (and will take) to get this referendum to ballot. Look at the distraction it has caused when there are so many critical matters that this State must address and solve so that our young and future generations avoid living their lives in chaos. When this repeal proposal finally goes to ballot it will pass by a margin of 80/20 or more.

If we had a responsible State legislature (which we don't) it would reconvene and repeal this law in-house to avoid our State becoming a spectacle and laughing-stock as November draws closer. Also, it would save us million's of dollars necessary to put this referendum on the ballot.

The last paragraph mentioned that the parents are angry at the media for being so silent about this new law as it gained momentum in the State legislature and failing to fulfill their obligation to keep the people fully informed of this incredible government circus-act. Now that doesn't surprise me one bit. Can you say "Wall Street/government corruption" or "ObamaCare"? Unfortunately, much of today's media has become the propoganda arm of our government. Mencken must be fuming in his grave.
