You lost me on this one. A problem Californians have, in general, is thinking everything is about them. Southern summers are hot, bright and muggy. Except for the days, usually twice per week, when it thunderstorms. The lake shown in the video is clearly from the Midwest, South or East as the amount of vegetation exceeds anything you would generally see in the Southwest or Southern California( except for higher elevations). The South is the origin of country music in this country and was imported to California by the “Okies”/ “Arkies” and other Southerners. My father hailed from Oklahoma, he was very much a Southerner, but made the migration to California with his parents and siblings as part of the Great Depression/Dust Bowl Diaspora to California. Many of his children and grandchildren have left or are now leaving California for greener pastures of their own.
