Somehow I'm imagining CalTax wouldn't be enthusiastic to get behind allowing local governments to ask their voters to raise the much more fair local property tax instead.

Can you imagine?

The $100,000 plus public safety pensions bankrupted Stockton and then the voters turned around and voted a 3/4 CENT MUNICIPAL SALES TAX INCREASE to bail out the pensions for the overlords.

Wow. Talk about 'useful idiots'.

This was Jerry Brown's plan from the start. To lift the financial burden and responsibility off the state government and place the financial burden and responsibility on the local governments. And his plan is working.

As long as you choose to live with 'useful idiots' you will be forced to pay for their sins.
