I am an under-employed social worker, age 63 and have no insurance…. so I signed up for Covered CA. and was told multiple times that my assets would NOT be taken by a worker when I signed up. Because my income is below $1300.00 a month, I am forced to be on Medi-Cal. I am not allowed to pay for the subsidized health ins. I spoke to a lady at the Sacramento County Medi-Cal Recovery Program today. She states that a lot of people are calling and upset with this little known fact: Anyone 55 and older are subject to the Recovery Program. The State will come after your assets (home/savings/etc.) after you die. I am trying to find more work, but am so angry with the government. How dare they force those of us 55 and older to go on Medi-Cal just because our income is below the $1300.00 mark! Unfortunately the County employee could not confirm what the Covered CA. guidelines are in regards to taking a Medi-Cal applicant’s assets. They may or they may not…. does anyone know for sure?

Since the establishment media in this state leans heavily to the left we can’t depend on them for an honest assessment of current events. Rags like The L.A. Times, Sac. Bee, S.F. Chronicle etc. are in the tank for Obama and the whole “Progressive” agenda and most reporters are just too smug, lazy and ignorant to do their job anyway.

But didn’t I read in a recent CWD article that for every Covered Ca enrollee who paid for their healthcare insurance that 4 others got theirs for free? So doing the math that means based on 400,000 enrollees that 80,000 paid for their insurance and 320,000 got a freebie. That should work out fine. lol.

And since California has 38M people the percent of the population enrolled in Covered Ca is a whopping 1.05%. Bang-up job, fellas! You’re really on fire! All of you deserve a raise and a bigger pension formula! Take the next 2 weeks off! lol.

How many times was Obama allowed to spew his lie about “If you like your health care plan you can keep it. No matter what. Period!” without getting called out by the media??? Dozens.

The lie wasn’t exposed by media attention until the citizens started feeling the pain with notifications in 2013 that their HC insurance would be cancelled in 2014. Why didn’t the media read the ObamaCare law in 2010, see this coming and report this prior to 2013? Why was Obama allowed to use these lies to get re-elected in 2012? Why was the media asleep at the wheel?

And now I find that the mega mainstream newspapers in the largest states aren’t reporting about another ObamaCare scam: The confiscation of the estates of low-income 55-65 year old seniors on Medi-Caid (Medi-Cal) after they die to recover any and all monies spent by the government for their routine medical care.

So the old low-income folks 55-65 are FORCED into Medi-Caid or Medi-Cal and after they die the government swoops in and legally steals their estates to pay for every dime that was spent on them while under government medical care! lol. Yet the big private insurance subsidies are exempt from recovery. But one major surgery under Medi-Caid could cost $100,000 and the low-income senior’s estate would get billed for the whole thing!!! That’s not free health care. That’s nothing but a clandestine loan!!!

But those who collect food stamps or welfare never have to pay back a dime, even if they hit the lotto!!! lol.

This is so so wrong and needs national attention.

Why isn’t Brian Williams discussing this on the 6 o’clock news???
