Why?

Because the private insurance companies, medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies and the physician associations own the democrat party and dictate the operations of our medical system. Heck, they wrote ACA. lol. Do you think Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi wrote it? lol. For God sakes, they didn’t even know what was in it before they voted for it! lol. All they knew was that the checks cleared and the ‘donations’ got deposited! lol. And with a few little lies tossed in it kicked it over the finish line! lol.

Government run healthcare would eliminate the need for private insurance companies, shoot a hole in pharmaceutical profit margins with government bulk purchasing and drop physicians salaries by 30% overnight!

Do you think the democrats would bite the hands that feed it??? lol.

There’s no way possible that the brightest minds in America designed this farce with so many obvious MAJOR flaws that would have raised red flags with an average 8th grader. If the ones who designed ObamaCare are really this stupid we’re in much bigger trouble than I previously thought. If this same crowd of imbeciles are in charge of strategizing our nation’s economic growth plan in the face of intense global competition – God help us. We’re done. How could a nation that put the first man on the moon back slide this far in 40 odd years? Obama’s become a clown. The only reason ObamaCare became law was because Obama lied through his teeth. In fact, the only reason he was reelected was because he lied through his teeth. How could anyone respect a guy like that?

I disagree. If Americans were so “programmed” at resisting authority we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in today, socially, politically or economically. Most Americans I meet are scared to voice their political beliefs in public out of fear of offending someone who might hear them. lol. No joke. Very strange in a nation that’s supposed to be the bastion of free expression. lol. Let’s face it. Americans mostly roll over and do as we’re told. We rolled over for TARP. We rolled over for the Main Street meltdown. We rolled over for ObamaCare. We rolled over for the Patriot Act. We rolled over for NDAA. We rolled over for Fast and Furious. We rolled over for the IRS scandal. We rolled over for NSA. We rolled over when bankers were caught willfully laundering billions in narcotic proceeds and none of them criminally prosecuted. We rolled over and let them keep our troops in Afghanistan for longer than a decade with intentions to keep them there to 2024 and beyond. We rolled over when we’re repeatedly lied to by the POTUS and other elite officials. Heck, we Americans roll over all the time. So if we were ‘programmed’ to resist authority at one time I think it’s been reprogrammed out of us over the years. If you want to meet some people who truly demand ‘consent of the governed’ go to Iceland. lol. Now those folks have some fire in their bellies. Those are some real patriots. lol.

New Mexico has over 2M people. If only 291 have enrolled so far something is pathetically wrong. One unmentioned reason New Mexico might be having a hard time signing up O-Care enrollees is the fact that hispanics account for about 47% of New Mexico’s population. Percentage-wise the largest in the nation. Covered California openly revealed that it’s had a very difficult time convincing hispanics to enroll. Why? Who knows? Maybe as a group they are the least trustful of government?
