If you’ve followed Guiliani’s political career you know that he can’t be called a ‘conservative’ with a straight face. No true conservative is electable in NYC. It’s a beautiful city. But it’s run by extremist progressives who’ve ruined it’s culture.

This quote from the dreadful NYT is a classic example of why The Old Gray Hag cannot be taken seriously. I don’t know what city the writer has been living in but surely not Nuevo York. Democrats have run the city continuously for as long as anyone can remember, Guiliani notwithstanding. The fact that a Republican “law and order” mayor lasted a few terms doesn’t change that fact.

If memory serves me correctly Mayor Bloomturd went Democrat about 2 seconds after he got elected the first time. Note to NYT, the city’s political establishment is, was and will be all about Limousine Liberal, Compassion Nazi politics and it doesn’t matter what arbitrary partisan label the mayor adopts.

Personally I really enjoy the aura and the style and the architecture and the class exuded by the physical NYC. It’s the closest thing we have to the classy cities of Europe. So I fully understand why native New Yorkers fall in love with their city. It would practically be impossible to have the same feelings for Los Angeles, Phoenix, Baltimore, Newark, Omaha, Seattle, Miami, etc…

It’s just a shame that it’s run by a bunch of liberal fascists who force their values on everyone who fall under the rule of their iron fists.

All I know is that De Blasio is a true lifelong dyed in the wool liberal. So prepare for more rewards and protections for illegal alien lawbreakers, more redistribution of wealth, more bans on certain food and lifestyle choices, more and bigger perks for government workers, more government wrath on busienss owners and the private sector.

NYC would be a great place to live if it weren’t for all the liberals there.
