“Means Testing” specifically measures ASSETS over and above income when determining eligibility for public assistance. Go look it up.

They used to do it for Medi-Caid (Cal) but they don’t anymore with ObamaCare. Like I said, theoretically one could own a $2M home free and clear and have $1M cash (or even more) in a passbook savings account drawing 1% interest and qualify for Medi-Cal under ObamaCare. That’s because the gov only tests for INCOME – not accumulated ASSETS when determining eligibility.

So it’s VERY possible to have millionaires getting Medi-Cal benefits under ObamaCare!!! lol.

If you spent some time researching the issues instead of behaving like Mrs. Kravitz with your constant personal criticisms of other poster’s opinions maybe you’d know some of this. lol.

16k income……is a form of means testing….

Obamacare Bronze has high deductibles….The IRS is charged with reviewing your income to grant subsidies…..

They’ve done away with ‘means testing’ for Medi-Cal under ObamaCare, you fool. Now a Medi-Cal (Medi-Caid) enrollee could own a $2M home and have hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial accounts and still be eligible for Medi-Cal as long as they keep their income under about $16,000!!! lol.

Stop being so hyper-critical of other posters like a Mrs. Kravitz type and start keeping up with the news!!! lol!

We have a “fifth column” in our cites, counties, and states whose sole intention is to steal all they can for themselves. It is the government worker collectives. With inside connections they are robbing the non-connected citizens of any decent future, padding their own pay, pensions and benefits. They have no integrity or honor, greed is their creed!! 🙂

With the large deductibles in ACA……giving away drugs like candy appears unlikely.

Bashing the unfortunate who need Medi-Cal is pretty low…..very low. Where is your compassion for truly sick people. Smug posters chastising the poor are way out of line.

We were all young and stupid once. I blame the ones trying to take advantage of the young folks much more than I blame the kids. The ones trying to pull the wool over their eyes. They know better. They’re the real culprits here.

It’s like a con artist bilking an 85 year old woman out of her life savings. Same principle at least.

The WW1 and WW2 generations would have NEVER done this to their young generations. They were more concerned about leaving a better life behind for their kids and grandkids than there were about their own quality of life.

Now, in just one or two generations of time, that attitude has completely reversed. Those grey-headed thieves in political office are forcing the the kids to pay for their sins – so that they can continue to accumulate wealth – without even batting an eyelash.

I’ve never seen or heard of such anti-American or immoral behavior from the top in all my life.

Even animals put their young before themselves. It’s all so disgusting.

The brilliant Ivy League gov employees who created ObamaCare are the brightest intellectuals that America produces. Just get into a debate with one over Obama’s policies and he or she will dazzle you with their knowledge. Your head will spin. You can watch them on MSNBC most any day of the week. But they aren’t mathematicians. You will never see a mathematician on MSNBC defending the Obama Administration.

The young healthy ones got a great deal. $175 premiums ($2100 annual) with $6000 deductibles. Total maximum potential payout? $8100. Isn’t that worth giving up a little privacy over?

Many of those young and healthy ones voted for Obama TWICE. lol. They wanted this. They are patriots and willing to sacrifice so that the poor ones get free health care and the chronically sick baby boomers get cheap health care. The young and healthy ones are willing to pay for it all because they believed and still believe in ‘hope and change’.

I’m convinced of that. lol.
