"Lieu says that it comes down to a question of whether state resources should be used on unconstitutional practices."

What the heck is this joker talking about???

The State legislators just passed laws to give Ca driver's licenses to criminal illegal aliens! lol. Plus, according to the new law Ca employers can't discriminate against illegals who apply for a job using these DL's with the illegal alien designator as identification!!! Hello, Mr. Lieu? It is a VIOLATION of Federal Law to hire illegal aliens! lol.

And to add insult to injury the State legislators voted to pass the "Trust Act" which compels cops running our jails in Ca to DEFY FEDERAL LAW by refusing to transfer the illegal over to ICE for deportation and releasing jailed criminal illegal aliens back into our neighborhoods if they've committed misdemeanors or non-violent felonies!!! lol!!!

Hey, Mr. Lieu....did you vote for the DL's for illegals and the "Trust Act"?
Since you are a democrat I bet a dollar to a donut that you did!!!

You took a SWORN OATH to defend the Laws of the United States, Mr. Lieu!!!

If you don't want to comply with your oath - RESIGN YOUR OFFICE!

This Bill isn't worth the paper it's written on. State law cannot preempt Federal law except when the Feds decide to willfully turn a blind eye to it such as when State governments legislate their own immigration laws (ie. DL's for illegals or the "Trust Act").

This is only a feel-good Bill to fool the people into believing that your State government is looking out for your best interests. lol. Of course, we know from past experience that's far from the truth. Look at how the State of California has deteriorated over the last few decades. Open your eyes. Believe your own eyes before you trust whatever the pols tell you.

You have cops abusing and killing citizens on our streets and responsible for million dollar lawsuit awards that the taxpayers are forced to pay while the violator cops walk away without a scratch. Look at the rogue cops who shot the female newspaper deliverer in Torrance during their hunt for Dorner. That cost the taxpayers a few million dollars. Were any of those cops prosecuted or fired? lol. Did you notice that story is no longer covered by the media??? Have any of your friendly California legislators who are so concerned with your safety and civil rights authored a Bill to get tougher on rogue cops who violate your civil liberties? lol. Don't hold your breath. lol.

If the Feds are going to spy on Californians there is nothing the State legislators can do about it. A symbolic bill is for all practical purposes worthless. Just more waste of California taxdollars. Any idea how much it costs the taxpayers to process these Bills in the legislature?

Why don't the California legislators write a letter to the California Congressional Delegation and demand amnesty for Edward Snowden who upheld his sworn oath to defend the US Constitution? Without Snowden none of this would have even been brought to our attention. All the spying would have continued without even being questioned. But not one of these opportunistic state legislators said a good word about Snowden, did they? lol.
